About

Sean Raker

Husband. Father. Pastor.

It has been said that one should never write unless compelled to do so. It was not until I was part way through my 29th year that I felt the urge. That urge was due to various parts of life. For one I was approaching 30 and began to reflect on what I had learned in life and theology over the course of my 20’s. That reflection paired with my ongoing studies as a pastor brought me to a point of being compelled to write. After thought, research, and preparation I launched the blog on my 30th birthday. My vision for the foreseeable future is to write out what I have learned while intermingling it with what I continue to learn. The intent is not to be a professor informing the minds of seminary students but to write as a pastor. My goal is to encourage and guide day-to-day life out of the theology discussed. To my readers your feedback, questions, and challenges are most welcome.

When I am not making time for writing amid being a pastor, husband, and father, I enjoy…
